| You dont have to spend years modding a car, and it doesnt have to be down if you either A: buy a properly maintained one or B: do the proper maintenance right off the bat the first time and resist the urge to do unnecessary/not-thought-out modifications Just because the Z06 comes with more power in stock form doesnt mean a thing if you cant drive worth a crap. You most certainly can get out in a stock Z with a refreshed suspension and haul ass and have a lot of fun. I remember at ZCon '06 in Dallas there was some guy in a stock G35 breezing by a lot of very modified Z's during the track lapping.
